Hello, I’m Jill, a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor (LAPC).
I have been in the counseling field for 37 years—first in hospitals, working with patients and families navigating trauma, recovery, and loss. Most recently, I’ve counseled teens and worked closely with families as a school counselor. These experiences have given me the privilege of walking with people through many different challenges, and they bring a deep perspective and understanding to my practice today.
Creating a pathway toward change often requires support—and that support works best when it’s offered without judgment. As a counselor, I strive to create a safe, nurturing space for growth and healing. Whether you’re facing a current obstacle, processing a past trauma, or wrestling with the complexities of relationships, health, or career transitions, we’ll work together to untangle what’s getting in the way and move toward healthier patterns.
My style is both caring and direct. I will listen deeply, validate what you’re going through, and make sure you feel truly understood. At the same time, I believe honesty is one of the greatest tools in therapy. If I see patterns that are keeping you stuck, I’ll share them—with compassion and respect—because sometimes the hardest truths are the ones that help us grow the most.
If you’re looking for a counselor who brings both decades of experience and down-to-earth honesty, you’re in the right place. Together, we’ll strengthen your sense of self, improve the way you connect in your relationships, and create a path forward that feels both grounded and hopeful.
