About Empowering Change
It’s hard to find a good therapist. We took the guesswork out of it.
At Empowering Change, we believe discomfort isn’t something to fear—it’s something to understand.
Stress, sadness, overwhelm, anxiety—these aren’t flaws or failures.
They’re signals. Signs that something in us or around us might need tending, healing, or changing.
We’re not here to help you avoid pain—we’re here to help you work with it.
To understand where it comes from, how it shows up in your life, and what it’s asking of you.
Because while discomfort is a natural part of being human, it doesn’t have to run your life.
With the right support, it’s possible to build new ways of responding—ways that bring more clarity, more calm, and more choice.
We believe happiness isn’t just something that happens when the hard stuff disappears.
It’s something we reconnect with when we stop fighting ourselves, when we feel supported, and when we learn to move through the hard moments with more ease.
Our team of thoughtful, down-to-earth therapists is here to walk with you—not ahead of you—through whatever season you’re in. Whether you’re carrying long-standing pain or simply feeling disconnected from yourself, we’re here to help you find your footing, feel more like yourself, and rediscover what it means to thrive.
If you’re here, you’ve already taken a step. Let’s take the next one together.
If you’re looking for a place where you can be met with wisdom, groundedness, and a bit of humor along the way—you’ve found it.
Welcome to Empowering Change.
Our Why
Every person who reaches out to us is carrying something—grief, pressure, questions about who they’re becoming, or wounds they’ve worked hard to ignore. We believe change starts not when we have all the answers, but when we’re finally ready to stop pretending we’re fine.
You don’t have to be in crisis to need support. You just have to be honest enough to say, “I want things to feel different.” That’s where we come in.
Rooted Here. Built Differently.
Empowering Change was founded in the very community we now serve. I’m Jordan Zuber—a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, a parent, and someone who grew up just down the road. I started this practice because I believe healing doesn’t happen in isolation—it happens in relationship. And it’s most powerful when that relationship feels familiar, grounded, and real.
We know therapy can feel clinical and intimidating. That’s not us. At Empowering Change, we’ve created a space where you can exhale. Our team is deeply trained in evidence-based modalities like IFS, relational therapy, somatic work, and ERP—but we don’t lead with our credentials. We lead with curiosity, honesty, and heart.
We value the quiet moments between the breakthroughs. The deep sighs, the stuck spots, the not-quite-sure-how-to-say-this parts. That’s often where the real change begins.

Our Approach to Therapy
We're committed to your journey. We believe in the power of practical solutions and compassionate care. We begin by understanding your unique challenges, then create a tailored plan to guide you forward. Our approach is to help you identify root causes, create personalized strategies, and achieve lasting change. We aim to delve deeper into the root of what is causing your stress.
At Empowering Change, we take a relational approach to healing. Our founder's training in family systems therapy informs the entire practice. You'll find that we prioritize the therapeutic relationship, recognizing its vital role in your success. Therapy is largely healing due to the relationship you form with your counselor, and we believe that always bringing a relational lens when navigating your issues is crucial. While we may focus on the individual, we also consider the broader context of your relationships. Understanding your connections with others allows us to address the root causes of your challenges and empower you to create the change you've been looking for.
Our relational approach might be refreshing and unique compared to therapy experiences you've had in the past. Whether you're seeking support for individual growth, relationship issues, or navigating the unique pressures of today's world, we're here to guide you.
