“I am a firm believer that change happens when we stop dancing around the truth and start facing it head-on. If you’re looking for a therapist who will hold you accountable, speak plainly, and walk with you through the hard work of transformation—you’re in the right place.”

A Little About My Approach

I don’t believe in "fluff" or sitting in silence for 50 minutes. My therapeutic style is direct, transparent, and grounded in the belief that you already have the strength to change—you just might need someone to help you get out of your own way. I am matter-of-fact about the challenges you face, but I provide that honesty within a deeply supportive and non-judgmental container.

I work particularly well with individuals who value an "active" therapist. Whether you are a man looking for a space that values logic and directness, or someone who feels stuck in a cycle of excuses, I am here to help you build a life that actually works.

My Specialties

  • Direct Accountability: I specialize in working with clients who are tired of the "status quo" and are ready for a therapist who will challenge them to grow.

  • Men’s Mental Health: I provide a space where men feel comfortable speaking their minds without the pressure to perform or "filter" their experiences.

  • Life Transitions & Stress: I help teens (15+), millennials, and adults navigate divorce, separation, and intense life stress with a clear head and a solid plan.

  • Addiction & Recovery: I have significant experience working with substance use and addiction, using a combination of Motivational Interviewing and CBT to drive real change.

Therapeutic Mission

You’ve spent too much time feeling stuck, making the same choices, and hoping for different results. You might feel like other therapists haven't "pushed" you enough or that you're just treading water. Together, we cut through the noise. Using Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Radical Acceptance, we identify the exact patterns holding you back and replace them with intentional, effective actions. You walk away with more than just "insight"—you leave with a sense of mastery over your life, improved relationships, and the confidence that comes from finally doing the work.

Experience & Background

I am a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) with a focus on evidence-based results. My clinical background is diverse, covering everything from self-esteem and relationship issues to complex trauma and substance use. I ensure that our work together is not just "good conversation," but clinically sound and results-oriented.

More Than Just My Work

I believe that a strong therapist is a well-rounded human. When I’m not in the office, I’m focused on maintaining my own balance and staying grounded—whether that’s through fitness, travel, or simply enjoying the directness of a good life lived with intention. I bring that same grounded, "no-nonsense" energy into every session I lead.
